Do You Love Him?

I've been feeling rather uninspired to do anything lately.
Not sure if it's because of my exams or it might be because I have my heart at somewhere else half around the globe.
Whatever it is, I know it has nothing to do with my upcoming holiday because that holiday comes with a lot of worries!
Sigh. Big sigh.

Okay, nvm. I'll survive through this tough time.

Anyway, I was blog hopping again yesterday (damn I like to blog hop a lot when I'm at my supposedly busiest time of the semester) and I came across a blog which I've been reading for quite some time now.
That post was written some time ago about her (the blogger) breaking up with her long term bf after being together for years and going through years of LDR (Long Distance Relationship).

Their situation was almost like Babe and myself, except that we are separated far longer and further (in terms of duration of separation and distance) than them.
But if I'm not mistaken, they started off at a younger age than us.
Whatever it is, she wrote about how she has finally made up her mind on breaking up with her bf due to undisclosed reasons but I'd like to believe that she's a very well expressive young lady and mature when it comes to decision making.

The reason why I'm writing about that is because the 1st time I read her entry on breaking up with her bf, I teared up.
I teared because in a lot of people's eyes (including mine), they seem to have the most perfect relationship and probably the best couple ever I've known (virtually).
And when I (sort of accidentally, not because of egoism ar :P) read it again and I couldn't help but to feel really sad and almost teared up again wtf.

So it occurred to me, what if one day Babe and I decided that we've had enough of everything and the 7 years of relationship eventually boils down to nothing?
(Just so you know, we're still in good (or great haha) terms now and I'm just saying what if - is this considered as pessimism because if it is I'll stop writing now haha)

Anyway, when I first started this relationship (Babe said he rather not call this relationship, I don't know why), I already knew that LDR will be part of it.
But you know when it comes to feelings, we can't always control them.
At that time, we were merely finishing our high school and I'm sure when you were in high school, you will have a lot of crushes, infatuations, flings and whatnot as well.
We both were still pretty naive and innocent when it comes to love but the feelings eventually blossomed into something so beautiful (I call it beautiful because I'm lack of vocab like that).

After years of being together, there are friends who eventually gave us nicknames such as The Golden Couple, The Old Couple, Husband & Wife (which I've never agreed on ar as long as we're still not married) etc.
And I can't deny that there are expectations on us.
What kind of expectations, I'll leave that to your own interpretation.

Whatever it is, reading her blog made me think of what I will do if one day Babe and I come to that stage of our lives?
Right now, I cannot think of wanting to be with anyone else but him alone.
But some times a relationship does not end because of a 3rd person also, right?
I guess I'm just being silly to even think of all these.

Oh well, thanks for reading this nonsensical post (if you have made it all the way till the end, thank you and well done! *touched*) because this is obviously written out of boredom.
Okay okay back to studies now.

Oh oh let me leave you guys with a picture I took when I first had my fringe cut into bangs.
I highly doubt if I'll cut it again this way unless I get too bored of my hairstyle which I highly think I will.

Yes, it's obviously edited and I'm vain like that. :)

A Love Affair

It is difficult to talk to men sometimes...for example my boyfriend when he found out I had my eyes on someone else:

"How could you!" he shouted at me. "How long have you had your eyes on this one?"

"Quite a while now", I smiled back at him. He refused to smile back. "It is difficult not to keep your eyes off this one you know.." I added.

"How did you find out, Babe?" I said as I stared at him.

"I've been your boyfriend for 7 years now and that's how you treat me? Obviously I would know when you are calling someone else BB. I thought that was only meant for me!" he said in a defensive voice. "How is the other guy better than me ,huh!?"

"He's black." *STRIKE 1*

"He's stylish." *STRIKE 2*

"He's slim. He's smart. He's so nice to touch..."

"He knows every road in town dear," I replied.

"Awww spare me the excuses! I have the 6 pack, I'm smart, and I know some of the roads well also okay!!! How could you do this to me?!" gruntled the frustrated voice.

"Well, he is 5.83 inches..." *STRIKE 3*

Note: Measurement on the image is for illustration purposes hahaha*

"...and he lasts up to five hours you know!" *AND YOU'RE OUT!!*

A traumatised Babe exclaimed, "OMG, you have gone too far! I demand to know this person you are seeing!"

Hesitatingly, I reached for the picture in my purse. He grabbed the picture out of my hand and looked at it.

Babe fainted.

Italiannies At Empire Subang

So it was one free day out of Babe's busy internship schedule and we decided to eat out!
We didn't plan what to eat (nothing new about that) but what we know was that we wanted to check out the new mall in town: Empire Subang.

Located only minutes of walks from Carrefour Subang Jaya, Empire Subang is one of the latest malls in Subang area if I'm not mistaken.

It was easy to search for a parking space there partly because it was still new I reckon.
It didn't take long for me to check out their toilets (whatever that means haha) and I fell in love with it!
Wanna know why??

There are mirrors at almost every corner of the toilet!
Mind you, even in the cubicle itself! Haha!

As if mirrors in the toilets are not enough, look at some of the shots I took in the mall:

Indoor roller coaster? Nah, it's some spiral-lookalike thing which we never got to find out exactly what it is.

And look! More reflections! I start to wonder if Empire Subang is all about reflections and mirrors. Metaphoric much?

Part of the decorations in the mall during Raya season:

The mall wasn't fully occupied yet with some incomplete lots.
After a while, we (reluctantly) decided to have lunch at Italiannies.

I've heard of Italiannies before but never got around to try it but this time I thought maybe I should since it can't be found in Penang so why not.

The settings in the restaurant was somewhat towards the old English house kinda setting with bricks, big fat white candles and the pictures on the walls.

The menu.

Yours truly, deciding on what to eat!

Our drinks: Strawberry splash - RM6.90

How it taste like? Look at Babe's face to know the answer!

Bread as appetizer.

And the sauce oil to dip the bread with!
I believe it's olive oil (not too sure about the black sauce) and it was my first time trying to eat the bread this way!
Thumbs up! The oil really compliments the bread (or vice versa) very well!

And for our main course: Smoke salmon pizza - RM 27.90
Smoked salmon slices, gorgonzola dill cream sauce, cream cheese and sliced onions.

*Totally not recommended to those who can't take cheeseeeeee!
You'll find out why soon enough!

A close up shot.

As a fan (not really a big one) of cheese, I thought this should be really nice and something new.
Of course, salmon and cheese on a pizza base, definitely something new for me.
But the taste was like, too plain.
Mainly because the salmon slices and the cheese didn't go well together and they taste exactly like how they are individually when I ate them together.
As in, no unique taste if you get me.
Also, I don't really like the salmon maybe because I prefer raw than smoked salmon.

After a while, the person that gave up on eating something so cheesy was none other than Babe!
Look at how he started playing with the cheese cubes (YES, IN CUBES) after eating a very small serving of the pizza!

Now this is why I said that smoked salmon pizza is totally not recommended to those of you who can't take much cheese!

The candle!

People, you'll come out from the restaurant looking like him if you don't heed my advice!
Haha. Poor bb, Mua mua.

Then we decided to pay for the parking and when we walked down to the carpark, guess what we saw:

Empire Subang has 3 autopay machines which none of them is located at anywhere near the parking lot at all.
How interesting. NOT.

We had to walk all the way back to the upper floor to make payment. Pfffft.

This is exactly how Empire Subang looks like from the highway.
All covered up with leaves.

Driving back!

I felt really bad that Babe didn't eat much because of the food I ordered.
But it's not like I didn't ask for his opinion before making orders la but I guess sometimes he's way too sweet to say no to me! :P

Thank you bb! I MISS YOU. T___T

Glee Season 2

*Warning: Spoilers head.

Oh wow guess what, I've just finished watching the 2nd episode of Glee Season 2.
And OMG what a mind-blowing way to start off the season!

The original Glee Club members form Season 1 singing to "Empire State of Mind" to try to lure new members into joining them!
I love this scene from the 1st episode!

First, I was blown away by Charice's voice in the very first episode!
Yes, Charice (as Sunshine Corazon in Glee), the singer from the Phillipines whose "Pyramid" song has been playing all over the local radio stations for quite some time now.
After reading in Reader's Digest about her making appearances in Glee Season 2, I was kinda looking forward to it because I've only heard her voice (in the radio) and photos (in RD) so I guess it'd be cool to be able to see her act and perform.

And when she started singing the "Telephone" song with Rachel Berry (played by Lea Michele), my gosh! That girl is very petite but her voice was so attractive and powerful!

Rachel realizing how great Charice's voice was when she sang "Telephone".

It got even better when she sang Beyonce's "Listen" for the Glee audition!

I was totally speechless (despite being a person who isn't really musically talented) and I just can't wait to download the new episodes!

Seriously, if only there's a Glee Club in my uni, I shall volunteer to be the dancer (not saying I'm good at it but I like to dance) and probably backup singers hahaha.
Except that people in my uni (especially girls) are quite shy when it comes to dancing.
Sigh..but I really wanna dance!
But I don't mean traditional kind of dance ar, I totally don't dig that.

Just like Brittany!
Speaking of Brittany, you guys should really watch the Episode 2 of Season 2!!
I'm sure many of you who have been watching Glee Season 1 religiously should at least get a bit of hint that Brittany (played by Heather Morris) IS a dancer.
Despite her being so cute and sarcastic, I really love to see her dance!

Britney Spears with Brittany against the wall. Haha.

Her role got even more significant in Season 2 (in Episode 2 so far) especially when she performed a few of the famous hits by Britney Spears!

Brittany dancing to "Me Against The Music" with Santana (as Madonna in the song).

To guys out there who can't get enough of the young and skinny Britney (years ago before she was married and everything that comes after that), you should at least watch this episode!
I'm sure you'll love it!

One more thing,

doesn't this scene below just look awfully familiar??!?!

That was Rachel Berry singing "Hit Me Baby One More Time".

Rachel was also singing Britney's song but I can't help but to laugh throughout the whole clip!
I don't know, maybe because she looks like she's trying to hard to be Britney Spears (I don't blame her since it's probably what she was asked to do) but I still love Rachel la. :)

And with the addition of another cute guy in the Glee Club, I'm sure this season's gonna be hotter than ever!

Truth be told, Glee is the first drama series which I truly love watching, not because of the casts, but purely because of the music and how the songs and dance moves make me feel so much better at the end of every episode.

I mean, like Gossip Girl for example, the story line is a bit well, ridiculous cos it only revolves around she loves him then they break up then he loves her, then breakup kinda thing.
Part of the reason why I'm still excited to watch Gossip Girl is because of their fashion!
And (Dan) Humphrey the Dumpty (I didn't make that up, you have to watch to get it) is getting so boring now.
So yea, I'll definitely be over Gossip Girl if it wasn't for their fashion!
