Dinner To Celebrate His Excellent Results!

Classes, training reports, presentation, lame lecturers are basically what my life is about now.
Wait till assignments and tests come by, I'll be even worse!

Anyways, since I haven't been updating for a while now so I guess I should try to get back on track with what I did last few weeks.
Oh, before that, remember I mentioned in my previous post that I went to the Berjaya Time Square Amusement Park with Babe? The post is up on his blog! Go have a look! :)

So I went to KL again on the 2nd week of July because I'm free like that I wanna make full use of the time I have with Babe while he's still in Malaysia.
I decided not to take Aeroline again this time because my money doesn't fall from the sky wtf.
So I took Plusliner instead which cost me RM35 one way but without the food, drinks, tv and good looking bus attendant.

On my way to KL. Pity those people who were in the opposite direction because the jam was crazzzzzy thanks to this.

I was really amazed by the new look of the waiting area upon arriving at the terminal. They renovated the place and it looks pretty decent and classier. Oh well not sure if the reno was recent because the last time I took Plusliner to KL was in Dec 2009 I think.

And I love the purple color!

See, not bad, right?

On that night itself, Babe and I went to a place we've never been before though the restaurant is quite near his house.

Rainy nights in Sunway.

Anytime is a good time for camwhoring! This is taken with my Red Devil! Oh guess what, my Red Devil has Low Light Mode which enables you to take pics even in low light condition. But your hand needs to be really steady though.

Reached our destination! Windmill Restaurant in Subang Jaya.

I have no expectation at all when I look at the exterior of the restaurant. But once I stepped inside, I already knew this is another The Ship kinda restaurant.

From the interiors, the table napkins (yes, you read that right), the candles, everything is just sooo The Ship. I'm not sure which one is the original one though.

Babe's happy because the treat is on me. T.T Haha.

The candle illuminating our dinner table.

And yes, he's still happy wtf.

And the food arrived after Babe stopped being so excited. I'm just kidding.

For the starters,

the usual bread and butter.

Mushroom soup.

Shrimp cocktail. Also the same as The Ship's but Windmill Restaurant is wayyy more stingy than The Ship. Look at the size of the serving. Urgh.

Because we ordered the set dinner, so we got to choose the drinks. Either coffee
or tea. :S

Babe ordered lychee. It tasted alright I guess. Am not a big fan of lychee.

*Warning: The entry will now be loaded with vain pics from this point onwards.

So because Babe and I are vainpots (cheh tak tahu malu :P), we always snap away when there are opportunities.
It was kinda awkward because the couple at the table beside us was looking at us...not sure why though.
Maybe they didn't expect there'll be a 'shooting' session in the restaurant itself. :P
But we were waiting for the main course ma.

Potong stim a bit, the main course arrived shortly after that.

And fml I forgot what it's called. Quarter spring chicken I think. Oh..oh yes it is!
Comes with the chicken (duh) and a cheesy sausage, with some mixed vege and fries. Oh well I guess you can see that from the pic itself.

I miss you. T.T And see that guy was forcing his eyes to open wider. =.=

The thing about us is that, we always like to do stupid faces in front of the camera when the other doesn't notice it.

So I did this when we were supposedly do a normal boring pose.

And on the next pic, Babe did this when I said I'll be normal. Oh sounds wrong but wth. =.=

Back to our normal selves. :D This is more like it. Haha.

I'm suspecting his mental condition actually.

GERMANYYY! Pirrrrah.

The chandeliers.

Playing with his BB.

Some weird-and-not-so-artistic shot I took. I like macro shots ma.
It's a glass of water with the candle behind btw.

That pretty much sums up the dinner we had at the Windmill Restaurant.
Nice ambience, nice food (although the appetizer was a bit too little), nice service and nice company too! :)
The price was a bit expensive but I guess you don't just pay for the food itself..

And oh, oh, congrats on your results, Babe! :) Hugggggggggs.

What If...

This post is specially dedicated to those who are attached, hopefully not married before reading this or about to be involved in a relationship.

Have you ever thought that your other half might somewhat be related to you?

Growing up in Penang for all my life (thus far), this question has of course dawned on me before.
To make things worse, my current beau (as if I have lots before haha) is from Penang as well.

Everyone knows that Penang is a small, teeny weeny and an over-populated island.
The possibility of you being related to someone you know but didn't know he/she is from your extended family? Undeniably high.
And since young, (when I know nothing about boy and girl kinda relationship) I've always wondered if I'm anyhow related to my friends, blood related that is.

We (Babe and I) talked about this before, that what if we are somewhat related to each other and but didn't know it?
We all know that different surname does not mean you can't possibly be related.

Babe has a really big family (not direct, but both his parents are from really big family) and things can get pretty messed up when you wanna link this to that and etc.
For more than 6 years being with him, I have never been in the position where we might possibly have common relatives.

To my surprise, upon checking my fb earlier, a friend of mine, who is a senior from my high school messaged me, saying that she thinks my bf is her 2nd cousin!
For one thing, I am grateful that my senior friend is not MY long lost cousin (as of now, hahaha)!
If not, oh my..I can't imagine what I would do. ahha.
But if it's 2nd, 3rd, etc cousins, shouldn't be a problem, right?

But I guess it'll still be a tad awkward.
Imagine you have to call your bf's uncle, 'Ah Ku, Ah Teow, Ku Kong' and the likes..hahahaha.

Oh wow.
Such is life.

Pasta de Gohan

Day 2 in KL was spent in The Amusement Park in Times Square.
I'll blog about it soon and if not, you'll probably just have to stay tuned to his blog!

So now I'm gonna blog about his Day 3 back in Malaysia! :)
Actually there's nothing much to blog about that day because I had to leave for Penang at 5.30pm.
Oh wells, we did have a nice lunch at Sunway Pyramid and I took some pics so I'll just blog about that!

On our way there!

Just like most couples, we always have problems deciding on what and where to eat.
It's easy if we have tonnes of money to spend, but as students, everything needs to be within the 'student's' budget.
Nevertheless, we will never reach to the point of arguing just to decide on where to eat. :)

So, anyways we (or rather I) decided to have some pasta for lunch!
Seriously, we walked around and still couldn't decide after some time and Babe gave in to my pasta cravings. Hehe.

The place we went to was called Pasta de Gohan.
I've never been there before nor noticed its existence actually.

Staring at the huge menu.

Before we could even make up our mind on what to eat, Babe decided to play around with his BB (iPhone) because I've recently downloaded the Fb app for him.

Then he instantly took a few photos which were uploaded to his Fb at the very moment and we still haven't ordered our food yet wtf. =.=

Finally orders were made!
Here's some pics of the restaurant:

Beautiful flowers decorating the restaurant.

Babe and still not wanting to let go of his BB. =.=

Me looking a little cock-eyed without my lenses. Arghh I cannot believe it that now I actually think that those lenses actually made a huge difference.
Sigh. But I'm not gonna wear them that often. My eyes need oxygen too, ya know!

We ordered the lunch set which comes with a choice of pasta and pilaf.
We got the prawn pilaf and Carbonara Waruku Style.

Carbonara Waruku Style.
A bit too cheesy for Babe but definitely thumbs up for me because cheese is loveeeee.

Prawn pilaf. It tasted more like a normal fried rice but a really really delicious normal fried rice. Haha. Aish, I don't think I can ever be a food blogger.

Even the food is not good enough to tempt him away from his BB.

Ice lemon tea for both of us!

Checking out the chilli powder with some weird expression.

O hai! Babe is amazed by how small the spoon was. =.=

Satisfied with our food in the end!
But definitely not the bill because the restaurant charges RM1 for the wet tissue.
Which means we had to pay an extra RM 2 (excluding the taxes and service charge) for 2 sachets of wet tissue.
They did put a notice at the front door that they'll be charging though.
So remember to take those tissue back if you happen to dine there and decided not to use the tissue because you can always use them to wipe your make up off!

Nothing much to do and buy after that so we walked around Sunway Pyramid and snapped a few pics.
Most of the pics were in his iPhone and I've only got this pic in my Red Devil, so enjoy!

Lonely weekend ahead. :(
