Guess Who's Back?

When you're reading this, I'm already on my way to KL!
Gonna have another sweet escapade to end the year!
Guess where I'm going this time?
Not far yet not very near either.
Erm...well yeah I'm on my way to KL but that's not my final destination!
Oh oh...sounds kinda scary to actually say those 2 words.

And yes! Babe's back for 3 months!!
Finally I feel that my real holiday is here.
I mean, what's holidays without your loved one right? :)

Hopefully this holiday will involve lots of photo taking and shopping!
Sorry la I've been putting this urge to shop behind me due to exams.
Must shop kaokao this time!

Will update asap! *fingers crossed*

Coffeeshop with a Rude Waiter

Another food post!
Well this one's not gonna be as thorough as the rest because I wasn't totally prepared for it.
I went there with my mom last Tuesday for a quick dinner.
This coffee shop is called....erm...Sungai Pinang something.
It's located along the Jelutong expressway and if you're coming from the bridge, it's on the left side of the expressway.

It's still relatively new, quite a number of people there, the concept is sort of like Asia Cafe's in Subang only that it's much smaller and has less stalls.
The first time I went there was with Babe a few months back when it was still very new and there were really lots of people there.
However, when we managed to find seats, we waited for a very long time before the waiters noticed us.
We did waive and ask for the waiters to come but most of them were occupied.
When one finally came, Babe then ordered apple juice and guess what the waiter said?
"We only serve canned drinks at this time because there are too many customers."
Then we thought for a moment then Babe said nevermind then.
The waiter then said, "Oh it'd be best if you don't order any." (with an irritated/sarcastic look on his face) and walked off.
We were pissed and decided not to eat and drink there.

So to all those people who have yet to visit this place, a gentle reminder, ignore the waiters!
Nah, just kidding.
This time when I went with my mom, I ordered apple juice as well and it was available!
Much to my surprise.
Ok I know the last time was because they were very busy but still it's possible to make that apple juice than to lose customers over some drinks!

I didn't know what to order and walked around for a little while before deciding to eat the fried rice from the Fried Rice King stall.
The first Fried Rice King I knew was at Taman Pekaka but I'm not too sure if this is the same.
But lemme tell you one thing, the fried rice is overpriced!!
The fried rice below is priced at RM4.70.
Even the special fried rice at an ulu hotel in Parit Buntar costs only RM3.80. =.=

Nevertheless it's quite nice. :P

My meal of the day.

Snapped some random pics while waiting for my food to arrive:

Lonely stall.

Quite a crowd there for a Tuesday.

I took this last pic with flash right before leaving that place.
Little did I know, there are 3 guys staring at me. Ooh.
They must have thought I was scoping them or something. Haha.

Till next post,

Adam Lambert Does It Again!

Credits to sassyqarla

The hot and saucy Adam Lambert can never fail to be outstanding.
First was his super high pitch voice with his Gothic look and then to his hot kissy action with a guy.
And on 22nd November during the 2009 American Music Awards, he's up performing again, this time not only the kissing part was involved, even some oral sex too!
Man, this guy's got guts!
iLike! Hahahah.

I haven't heard his latest single yet but I've no doubt it's gonna be one hell of a song.
What's weird is that I've never really liked guys with dark and thick eyeliners (such as Tokio Hotel) but somehow I just got hooked to him! :P
I guess we'll be seeing more of him in the coming years! Yay!

I Miss Dancing.

It's been two days since my holidays started.
I've always looked forward to holidays because I have exactly in my mind what I want to do before and during my vacation.
And then, something unforeseen happened.
But like I said, I believe everything happens for a reason.
Always look on the bright side of things.

Right now, I'm just locking myself in my house, trying to choreograph a dance for my upcoming dinner.
Problem is I don't think I have enough female volunteers.
The last time I danced in a group was when I was in Form 6, dancing a traditional Chinese dance which I never got to see the video till now. :(
Oh wait, wrong! The last time I danced was in 2007 during the Xiao Hua Xiao Chao event. Kinda...erm. Nvm.

If you wonder where my interest in dancing came from, I can honestly tell you it was because of my involvement in guiding since Form 1.
Joining girl guides was one of the few best choices I've ever made in my life.
From girl guides, I learned to make new friends, sing and dance, be independent etc.
Guiding has indeed changed my life and because of guiding, I found my man. :)

If you're a former girl guide (active one), you'll surely remember the annual gatherings and combined camps that were usually held in various schools and camp sites.
Back then, there was a small bunch of us who were really active in guiding and always strove our best to make every gathering and camp a successful one.
That was when I realized dancing has become an important part of my life.

It started seriously when a senior of mine, Melisa, selected a few of us and choreographed the best dance moves ever in the history of SGGS.
We danced in a group, regardless of background differences and age.
It was one of the best moments in my life having to dance with a bunch of good friends.
Especially when you see everyone was so synchronized and you're part of something like that, the feeling was just indescribable!
At that time, around 7 or 8 years ago, the songs we usually danced to were from Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and singers of that sort.
So, you probably get the idea of what kind of dance we grooved to. Haha.

Christina Aguilera before & after.
Sometimes I wished she didn't curl her hair like Marilyn Monroe. =.=

Same goes to Britney Spears. The bald thingy. What happened to these women??
I used to love them so much! :(

But now, I'm not sure how's the standard of guiding back in my high school.
Probably has dropped till none. :(
Up to 2 or 3 years after my batch, the guides were still pretty active, only that the number has subsided.
Parents nowadays are afraid of their kids getting burnt under the sun and kids now are very lazy, as in lazy to write all those thick logbooks which a girl guide has to complete before passing the test and all.
It was all part of the routine and guiding was supposedly meant to discipline the students as well.
That is if you don't misinterpret it.

I missed dancing in SGGS. To the dancers (you know who you are), I missed you all!!!
How I wished we could turn back time. :(
Now let's just hope my dance will turn out well cos if not, I'll probably head to some clubs and dance my ass off there. HAHAhAHA.
Kidding. I'm not that desperate.

Full : Dinner @ Max Gourmet

Finally my exam has ended!
Another semester down, 3 more before I can wear the mortar board on my head.
To sum this semester up, it was short but as usual, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the education here.
Just not satisfied la.

So in the middle of the exam weeks, I decided to go back to my favourite island to get some family love before I continue to revise my butt off.
It was really worth it because my mom and sis decided to eat out!
FYI, my family seldom eat out or do any family thing so it was quite an exciting moment for me to be able to spend time with my loved ones besides at home.

With my beloved Mummy!

And my sweet sis! :)

Sis suggested us to go to Max Gourmet which is located at the top floor of Old Wing, Gurney Plaza.
Honestly, I never knew it existed!
Maybe because it's been really long since I came here or maybe I just didn't notice it.
Max Gourmet is quite a new restaurant though..it's situated right opposite GSC.

Since I'm not a food blogger (almost typed bood blooger, tongue twister eh?), so we didn't exactly order much variety.
Here's what we had for dinner:

Menu pic!

Some Ribena-taste drink with lemon slice.

I ordered "Hiong Ha Lou" Fried Rice.

Being a non-Cantonese speaker (but I can understand TVB Cantonese, HAHHA) and an English educated girl, I had no idea what "Hiong Ha Lou" means until when it came, I realised it meant 'Village Men'.
Probably means the traditional or old way of making the fried rice.

Part of the interior.

I wanted to take more pics of the restaurant but I hesitated because there were so many people on a Tuesday night!
I was wondering why did those people crowd at Gurney and of all places Max Gourmet at 9pm??
Yea, we were kinda late for dinner but yet there were so many customers. =.=

And this, my fellow readers, is the BEST CHAR HOR FUN I've EVER tasted in life so far!
It's not your ordinary hawker stall Char Hor Fun (obviously)!
Max Gourmet's Char Hor Fun comes with fish fillets! And I must say they're pretty generous with it.
It's a little diluted though, wished it was thicker.
But the gravy was kinda special in my opinion. Definitely recommended-2 thumbs up! (as written in the menu)

Gonna come back here for its hor fun! :)

Yau Char Kwai coated/wrapped with Chee Cheong Fun.
I tell ya, I never liked Yau Char Kwai before. Like NEVER.
But this, THIS Yau Char Kwai is a must try!!

But horrrr, the gravy is the same as the Char Hor Fun's. Probably that's why I like it. Haha.
1.5 thumbs up! Erm...

As for dessert, we tried the Honey Dew + Ice Cream + jellies +syrup + what not,

Can't remember what it's called. Quite nice. Not very outstanding though.

All in all, the prices there are pretty reasonable. Ranging from Rm 5.90 (main dish, such as the Char Hor Fun) to probably RM20 or so?
Of course, I'm not asking you to trust me completely because I can barely remember.
But if a student like me who's always on a tight budget says "I'll be back again", you can definitely trust me a little more. :)

Here's how it looks like. Taken when we left the restaurant about 10pm.
Look at the number of customers there. I think they close at 10pm. :O

Special thanks to sis for the treat! :D

Go try it!

Another One Down

Another paper done!
Now I'm left with two papers, on the 16th and 20th of this month, respectively.
Okie before I start this post, I would like to set some things straight.

First, if you wanna read my blog and judge me, just do it.
I have the rights to stop you from reading my blog but I won't do it because I'm a Nuffnanger.
And all Nuffnangers want to earn $.

Secondly, I did not personally invite you to read my blog or even if I did, and you still wanna judge me, just leave and don't come back.
I don't really bother if I have one less reader (you know who you are) LIKE YOU.
And why wanna hurt your eyes by reading a blog authored by someone you dislike, right??
But still, your visit means a lot to me because it'll only mean at least a wee bit of increment in my Nuffnang account. :D

Third, before you judge others, heed my advice and look in the reflection of your mirror.

And fourth, not everyone is as low as you.
Everyone pursues for different things in life which also means, we are all different.

So to xxxx, get a life.

Okie done with my 'introduction', now gonna talk about....hmmm...let's see..

I have nothing to talk about!

Life has being really boring and interesting in some ways. Haha.
But those ways don't include pics which explains why my recent blog entries have been using old pics.
I think after so much of blog hopping, I feel that blog entries with pics can really make the readers feel interested and they can relate more to the blog author.
That's what I think, at least.

Anyway, if you notice on my blog list, someone who has not being updating his blog for quite some time has finally come up with so many recent entries!
Do support him and drop some comments if you like!

I'm off for now!
Anticipating the month of December! (or 29th of Nov) Hehe.

Imma Torture Myself

So, I had my mechanics paper today.
Whenever it comes to mechanics, it's gonna be a hell for me because I was never good with numbers.
Today is no exceptional.
I think I flunked the easiest mechanics paper on earth.
Read that right.

I don't know why but I have A LOT OF FEAR for numbers in mechanics form.
I've been doing mechanics since I was in 1st year and now that it's been 2 years, I can still 'do so well' in it.
I feel so useless and down now.

It was freaking easy OKIE!
I don't know why I had to be so stupid.
I feel so damn stupid right now that I want to torture myself with instant noodles.
And look how Baby replied my status.

I'm gonna do it.

No xoxo for this post because I feel really like a dumbass.
No need to asterisk it la it's not vulgar also.
HAHAHAHAAH.

Great..the evil side of me prevailed.

It's NOVEMBERRRRR!

It's 1st of November already.
In just a blink of an eye, the year is about to end in 2months' time.
This year, I haven't been proud of myself because of the things I did.
Somehow, I just wished I could be a better person.
Nevertheless, I believe it all happened for a reason.

My first paper which is Engineering English is on the 3rd of November.
I have no idea what I am doing here but I just feel the need to update my blog, the place where I can pour my feelings onto.
As usual, it's the study week and everyday has been quite a routine to me.

Wake up at 8.30am (depending on what time I sleep the night before, as long as I get my 8 hours of beauty sleep), wash up and eat breakfast.
Lunch time, grab some unhealthy (because there's not much choice of healthy food) meal from the cafeteria and stare at my notes again.
Bathe, surf, study, nap then it's dinner time.
Right before dinner time, I'll have my daily chat with Babe which will then continue until about 10pm when I'll force him to sleep. Haha.
At 12midnight, my brain system will automatically shut down and it's time for me to rest my so-long-never-do-any-exercise body.

Many wonder how I can chat till so long with him.
Frankly, there's nothing much to tell in a day's time which is already a routine like I mentioned, but if you were in my shoe, you'll know it's more than just chatting/talking.
It's the virtual presence that is taken into account, the kind of indescribable feeling you need in you especially at times when you're continents apart.

On a happier note, I have my holidays planned!
Now, isn't that something worth looking forward to after exams??
I guess I sound quite pathetic to be jumping from one end of a feeling to another.
But sometimes, you just gotta motivate yourself because no one out there is able to look out for you but yourself.
Hopefully, this coming holiday will bring out the best in us! :D

Okie now that I've broken my net surfing curfew again, I've gotta do some redemption now.

ps: All the best in your exams my friends! We are all in this together! (quote from HSM)
